Kirkwood Living Green Partners with Kirkwood-Des Peres Area Chamber to Create Green Certification Program for Local Businesses

2011: Another Eventful Year for KLG

April 23rd
- We held our second Earth Day Event at the Kirkwood
   Farmers' Market new expansion area.
- There were 16 participants, giving expert advice on
   everything from composting to reducing your carbon
   footprint.

May 21st
- Kirkwood Living Green experts were on hand at the
   Downtown Kirkwood Festival to answer questions and
   offer advice on everything environmental.

September 17th
- Kirkwood Living Green again participated in the
   Greentree Festival's parade.

October 8th
- Kirkwood Living Green members were on hand at
   the Kirkwood Train Station during the Fall Festival
   with information on "how to make a difference."
